I looked up the law in MN. Because there was property damage at a neighbour’s place, then _Kevin_ could actually be arrested. If Brad and Patricia knew about the party, they could be too. And if Joel had blown a positive test, he would have been cited, but not taken away.
@Christopher Max Wall That is what a placebo is. Likely that happened to Joel because he doesn’t know how much it would take for him to get drunk like he ‘thought’ he did.
And, 0.02 is well below the legal limit. But then again, they’ll need to keep their mouths shut because even though they’re adults now, at 18, they aren’t 21. They’ll wind up wrecking their lives if they open their mouths again.

Well, Joel got really lucky this time. He’ll probably think things through next time he tries drinking, if he even wants to.

Wow. I was wrong about Joel being a lightweight. He’s a flyweight.
You got saved, Joel. But the rest of the crew will NOT get so lucky.
The only thing more humiliating than embarrassing yourself in a drunken display at a party is finding out you weren’t even drunk when you did it.
Wow. Guess that shower (or Michelle) really *did* sober him up. That or the cops are just being lenient on him.
Joel, you dodged a major bullet. The others won’t be as lucky.
“Drunks as skunks” is a phrase I’ve never heard of until now and I WILL find an excuse to use it again in the future.
