Well, besides that last panel, I love how sweet this whole strip was, especially with Katy expressing her feelings to Eugene.
To think she started off as the kind of girl looking for a photogenically cute guy to date, and she ends up with one that didn’t meet her then standards but offers more genuine love and care than any other boy would’ve done for her.
I had a pretty deep feeling they weren’t actually gonna do it, but at least it’s because of ineptitude on their part and not because they decided to chicken out at the last second XD
Also, with Gene’s weight, are you sure those sheets are gonna hold?
