Ehh, ogling cartoon 14-year-olds isn’t the same as ogling real 14-year-olds. I mean, weren’t Michelle, Kendra and Jocelyn (Who provide plenty of fanservice in their own right) about 16 when they debuted in this comic?
Those one-shot characters are still creeps and jerks in every other way, though. Good that they (Begrudgingly) learned their lesson.
Glad my anime class in college was respectful.
They did briefly touch upon the sexual nature, but they kept the focus on the impact of anime around the world (mainly focusing on the sci-fi genre).
Good to see this hasn’t dampened Lindsay’s appreciation of anime. Some of it does look like it was made with horny 18- to 24-year-olds in mind, but there are gems if you know where to look.
And to think, in a few years, Pokemon will hit U.S. shores, and then it will REALLY take off.
