@Jesternario: Not yet. The WNBA wouldn’t be founded until April 1996, and its first season wouldn’t be until June 1997. But rest assured, when it gets here, Kristen will be positively thrilled 😁
Tangentially related question: what is Kristen’s major, anyway? Back in the “Cheer Genius” arc (link), Lindsay’s excited that all four girls had found their majors — but they didn’t. She, Amber, and Cynthia did, but Kristen found basketball. Basketball isn’t a major, it’s an extracurricular. So what DID she major in?
And not only would college become so much more monstrously expensive but our shit economy would make getting a degree practically pointless. Kristen’s ahead of her time (the apparent sexism of her profession notwithstanding)
I believed that this is where WNBA was found in 1996… if Kristen can go. if this shit happens…🤷 (Sorry for the late comment)
The American Basketball League is starting even earlier than the WNBA. Maybe we get an alternate universe where it lasts longer than 2.5 seasons. 🫤

WNBA is a thing. She can play professionally there.

Is this the first time for Williams Arena in the strip?
How about Kristen “Sch-wiiiing”? 😂
Hang in there, Kris. Only three more months until the WNBA.
Considering 1996 is the year the WNBA was found, Kristen may have a lifeline thrown to her, even if she doesn’t know it yet.
Looks like someone will go to the Olympics this year.
