@SnapTrapPress: Sorry, I wasn’t talking about the seats in the police car. I was referring to the “icicle crucifix” that Ronald was threatening to kill Phyllis with. I wasn’t even sure if it was made out of ice or stone until Jocelyn confirmed it in the second panel.
I believe what you were trying to say was actually meant for @wingweaver84?
Oh Phyl, you really are in n infinite pool of demial, aren’t you (rhetorical question)
Again, \i’ve asked before, and I’ll keep on asking, but how in the literal hell did Ronald McDipshit’s mind get THIS warped? Was it all his own doing, or were Phyl and Vicky’s parents that bad of an influence on him? Will this ever get an answer? Hell, are Desertstormer and his buddies getting arrestedfor their roles in this election fraud scheme?
@Aidan Fitzpatrick no, that’s kinda the joke. Partially it’s just that these two suck at being cops, but it’s partially just that you literally can’t do that. The backseats of police cruisers are made entirely out of a single huge piece of plastic specifically so they can easily be hosed off.
Has it been established in the strip that Phyllis has never had an orgasm, or is that just my headcanon? Either way, sounds like an idea for the next storyline focusing on her.
Is scotchgarding the seats of a police cruiser even a thing? Granted god knows what gets tossed around in there. But finally we see Ronald not in the place he *truly* belongs but I guess is good enough for now.
I wasn’t sure if that crucifix that Ronald took from that statue of himself was even made of ice, to be honest. But I’m glad that Jocelyn confirmed it, at least.

Hope fully this is Phylis’s redemption arc.

And just like that, Phyllis forever remains in Stockholm Syndrome…

I like that Vicky still tries to get through to her sister, rather than (justifiably) saying “Fuck it; You’re on your own.”
So it remains to be seen if Phyllis is still floating down that river in Egypt…
So, if a judge REALLY doesn’t want him out anytime soon, he’s potentially facing a prison sentence of 25 years. Hopefully without parole.
I don’t even know how many years he’ll get for voter fraud. I ought to look that up. Along with a list of other charges.

No, Vicky. That is NOT a “maybe”.
Everyone else has said what I wanted to say about Phyllis’ “NOOOOOOO!”
I’m just glad someone told it to her straight.
Woof…Phyl has Stockholm Syndrome REALLY bad!
Is that “No, my entire world is crashing down around me”, or “No, I’d rather stay a mindless slave than start thinking for myself”?
Denial leading into acceptance for Phyllis? I hope?
“Oh, I like it! Denial! That is the first part of the grieving process, brothers. Now let’s all hold hands, huh?”

Jocelyn’s line in the last panel just made me laugh.
That better be a “No, I can’t believe I was wrong,” and not a “No, I refuse to abandon him.”
Ronald should’ve just shanked her and saved us ALL the trouble :/
