Well everything he just said was a massive constitutional violation. I mean in that opener alone he violated the 19th amendment, proposed massive state government overreach by suggesting he could do anything to get rid of public schools, and just spat in the face of the 1st amendment. I didn’t think America would see this for another 30 years.
The Christian camp is outside of Ronald’s jurisdiction, and he’s just the Governor-elect. Vicky and Lars could claim the bus was stolen by Joy riders.
He has to be sworn in to office. I don’t think that had happened yet.
Phyllis was really messed up by her parents to be thinking this. Oh, and I’m thinking that Ronald may also be kicked out of the church’s congregation soon.
Happy birthday Red Rain.
P.s. isn’t that a Peter Gabriel song?
I wouldn’t be surprised if Ronald had Vicky and Lars arrested and thrown in jail on trumped-up/made-up charges after he heard about what happened at the Christian slave camp.
I still have to wonder what the fuck snapped in Ronald McDipshit’s mind to get him to act like this. Is he really trying hard to kiss the asses of Phyl’s parents, or is this his own volition?
It is also VERY interesting we don’t see those neo-nazis again though. Did he dispose of them, or are they trying to get Clinton out and install Ronnie in as president so he can spread that shit of his across the country? Maybe then he can abolish all other government positions and have himself installed as the one true king he wants to be. Him also being a (not-so) closet Neo-Nazi might explain a few things too.
@Rehulk555 Again, I suspect the Neo-Nazi buddies of his had something to do with that.
In the days of the internet, he would be made a pariah through smart phones, which someone would’ve snuck in regardless of his attempt to stop short of a strip search. In the 90s, we just sort of hear about this shit through word of mouth and usually had a response of “How is he even allowed to govern? Staying the hell away from there!”
MegaJar
Well is he the actual Governor or just the Governor Elect? I real life in Minnesota the Governor ks recalled first then 35 days later a special election is held for a replacement. And even then it likey going to take a month or two.for them to get the stuff ready for the new guy before he can begin the term
Normally a recount would be requested, alongside an investigation of voting fraud, but we all know things are going to work out and Ron will be knocked down a peg and the most satisfying way possible. The fun part is seeing how!
OK, first of all, the governor does not have the authority to do any of that shit. Most of it couldn’t be done at all, by anyone — there’s this little thing called the U.S. Constitution that guarantees freedom of religion, women having the right to vote, and so on. The only thing he mentioned that MIGHT not be unconstitutional would be making changes to school curricula, and that would still be up to the state legislature, not the governor. So he’s basically pulling all of these promises out of his ass.
Secondly, why is Ronald even still governor at all? Regardless of whether Jocelyn was rescued or not, Vicky still uncovered more than enough evidence to invalidate his “victory” and send him to jail for massive election fraud. So why hasn’t she gone public with it yet? …Unleeeeeeeess…she’s cooked up a plan to publicly reveal that Jocelyn isn’t really brainwashed AND present the evidence against Ronald, all at once, publicly and humiliatingly.
@MegaJar:
“So he’s basically pulling all of these promises out of his ass.”
So what else is new?
Thanks for the birthday wishes guys. I greatly appreciate it.
@TheJayster99 Agreed. If Ned Flanders met Ronald he’d probably be like, “Woah fella! Turn the religion down a smidgen!”

@Jesternario In 1995, the chances no one at that gathering had a minicam running is near zero. SOMEONE would’ve been recording things.

Happy birthday to @Red-Rain.
Also, when is Vicky going to expose Ronald?

You go tell him off, Tina! He deserves that. Hope he finally gets his comeuppance very soon?
Also Happy 30th Birthday, Red Rain. Welcome to the 30’s club.

Ronald seems to think he’s been elected King, not Governor. Here’s a thought, go look up Proverbs 16:18, chump.
Panel 2 is the exact reaction we all have towards Ron.
Happy birthday @Red Rain.
@Red Rain: Happy Birthday!
As for this strip, Ronald is an asshole.
So this more or less confirms that Ronald is an actual Nazi.
Time to form an angry mob! Get your pitchforks and torches here!
Still waiting for that lightning bolt lasered karma.
There are so many violent things I want to do to Ron right now, I can’t even begin to describe them all.
“Tyranny of kindness and compassion”
WOW he really does not understand the virtues of his own damn religion does he?
Just when I thought Ronald’s ego could grow any bigger, it keeps skyrocketing. Also, I officially have turned 30 years of age as of today.
Ned Flanders, he is not.
