Ah, yes, the story arc that ruined Maggie Simpson forever. No longer is she just a baby, but a stone cold assassin who’s possibly the smartest person in the whole family.
Of course, the bigger issue is that Comedy Central is about to go scorched-earth on MST3K. CC would rather pretend that the network lives and dies on South Park than acknowledge the actual show that got people watching it.
In speaking of adult-oriented animated shows, what do you suppose the 1990something gang would each think of Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, if they could foresee what was coming in the decades of the 21st century to come soon? Thanks.
@Jesternario: If you feel that way, a much later episode had Homer casually admit he’d tricked the town into thinking [********] did it, inferring that he’d been the actual shooter all this time. An obvious sign that later writers thought the original twist ending was a little ridiculous in its satire of murder mysteries.

I remember that episode. That ending was so dumb.
If anyone can solve the mystery, Steve can.
The Famous Who Shot Mr. Burns episode by the Simpsons. This is going to be good.
@TheJayster99: Yes, but he’d definitely be looking back fondly on the classic episodes just like everybody else on the internet.
Not that it’s a bad thing though.
Then they found out it was the baby.

(Cough)
The first time a story of The Simpsons was cut in two episodes.
Cue theRealJims’ Simpsons Mysterys theme…
