Just later this year and we get to see if this turns into Michelle ignoring the n64 release next year for a Playstation this year. Resident Evil will be a US launch title, and Final Fantasy VII comes out in two years. That’s when most folks ditched Nintendo for Sony.
Well nobody’s perfect, even the supposed flawless ones. But give it a bit, N64 will redeemed as will Game Boy Color and Advance then be perplaxed by the gimmicks of DS, & 3DS. And then you’ll kinda love the Gamecube, enjoy the Wii despite it’s gimmick, be let down by the WiiU, love the Switch and then wonder why Nintendo going full corporate evil with Switch 2.
What’s sad it the Virtual Boy *could* have been fun. Not groundbreaking, but the potential was there in its initial conception. It was supposed to be a headset you’d wear and play games on. What happened? Japanese liability laws changed. Nintendo was so paranoid that a child could hurt themselves walking around with one of these things strapped to their head that they redesigned it to be a tabletop device. Then they plastered so many warnings about using it that people became convinced it was more dangerous than it actually was.
There it is… the moment she realizes such a “perfect” company made a complete dud. Her mind is now scrambled with questions and disbelief. Like the equivalent of finding out a really cute boy you like turns out to be a really mean jerk. “No! He couldn’t possibly be a jerk! He’s too cute and precious!”
At least it’s a good thing she only rented it and not wasted a ton of money to keep such a failure of a creation. Her father will be relieved.
Yeah, can’t blame you for being disappointed Michelle. Though the Virtual Boy did have a few good games that were released later such as Mario Clash and Virtual Boy Wario Land.
I Mean, Virtual Boy can be that bad, Michelle, But.. You get the idea.
I Mean… The Virtual Boy can be that bad?

But again, we all stumble.

R.O.B was made by Nintendo, right? There’s no way this is her first disappointment with Nintendo…
I’m surprised. Jenny knows what hyperbole means?
The sad reality is so harsh.
I suppose she’s learned that even companies that mostly make good things can have their fair share of duds.
Though it is a real shame what happened to Gunpei Yokoi after the Virtual Boy flopped.

Nintendo didn’t make the power glove, Mattel did.
She’s acting like it’s the first time she’s seen a bad Nintendo product. Has she never encountered the Power Glove?

Also there’s a Waterworld game on it.
Well at least it’s a rental.
Jayster, you mean “pray?”
Never have heroes Michelle. Just prey you kept the receipt.
