@Zach Kenny
I hear ya on the Crypt Keeper part. First time I saw this movie was on TV in Spanish. The sudden appearance of the Crypt Keeper did freak me out and I didn’t look back at the TV screen thinking he was still on the screen.
But after seeing more viewings of it (and the Nostalgia Critic review), I got used to it. And I quite enjoyed it.
@Red Rain
I’ve been watching MeTV Toons, and they do play lots of Casper cartoons, which I haven’t really seen before. I’ve only seen one Casper cartoon before this, which was dubbed in Spanish poorly. Watching these other cartoons on MeTV Toons got me more into the Casper series and how different almost each episode is.
Oh Lion King’s too boring for ya, but ya’ll emulate Casper huh? Tsk, kids.
I kid of course, was lucky enough get to see that in theaters with my daycare during the summer. Def a pioneer of the CGI age. Can’t say the same for the sequels though =P. Honestly surprised that hasn’t got a remake yet, but more then like it’s only a matter of time.
I met Casper through some old comic books when I was younger and had interaction with the cartoon years later. The movie was decent but still I liked it.
I remember being given a VHS of this by my cousins Derek & Brittany, but I only watched it once.
All because that sudden appearance by the damn Crypt Keeper horrified me so much, I didn’t wanna take the chance rewatching it even if I knew it was coming. Similar to how I wasn’t comfortable watching the Sesame Street video Sing Yourself Silly because it promidently featured elephant trumpets.
@Theayster99: I on the other hand was familiar with the classic “Casper” cartoons I used to watch on video, before I got film adaptation on video as well.
(I didn’t watch “Casper” the movie when it first premiered in theatres, because I was around two to three years old at the time.)
Now that’s a quality vacuum cleaner.

@Red Rain: Agreed.
I think that movie inspired the core mechanic of Luigi’s Mansion. Or it might have been Ghostbusters. lol
The Casper Movie and Cartoon needs more love.

Sorry about this comment. I sometimes have a nasty habit of missing words in my sentences without realising it.
