I remember there being a webcomic years ago with a female lead who was late night movie host dating a disabled Iraq war vet, and had a very Ronald-esque brother who had drowned two non-WASP people he encountered in a restaurant with bowls of soup (this was right after 9/11 happened, so he got away with it). Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks!
“What do you think this is, some kind of fictitious story?” said the bespectacled movie critic to the punk girl driving a tank and the kangaroo/human hybrid after driving said tank off a cliff in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Kamikaze Tank Dive

Not the first film critic a director has wished they could chase off a cliff…
Last panel:
“…somebody’s gotta tell him.”
