Well. Russell got what he deserved. Had he listened to what Westworld really wanted instead of what HE wanted, and being more empathic with them. Things would have worked different. But NO. He turned to be an asshole who used his manchild attitude and tauntrums in order to get what he wanted and had to paid the price.
The fallout on this is going to be harsh, but hopefully Westworld will be able to endure.
